| If you use InterActual software as your main DVD player, always keep in mind that it relies on the DVD software that was already installed in your computer. If you decide to upgrade to a newer version of Windows, then you should also make sure that your original DVD software is supported. So far, InterActual software has been found to be compatible with every version of Windows that is currently available. However, the underlying DVD software that the InterActual program uses may not be, and this is when you would encounter errors in our software. Currently, we have tested the following DVD decoders under every version of Windows. Each of the decoders listed has at least one version available that is compatible with the latest versions of the Windows operating system: - ATI DVD Player
- CyberLink PowerDVD
- InterVideo WinDVD
- Ravisent Software Cinemaster/Cineplayer
- Sigma Designs Real Magic Hollywood Plus decoder hardware
If you had one of these players installed in your previous version of Windows, please be sure to reinstall it when you upgrade Windows, and test it to confirm it is compatible. If it will not work, then contact your system manufacturer or the maker of the software for a possible upgrade which is compatible with your new system. Once you have restored DVD playback in this software, you should then be able to use InterActual software once again. |
