Please contact the manufacturer of your hardware or your DVD decoder provider if you are not sure whether your system meets these recommendations. Minimum Decoder RequirementsMost currently available software-only DVD decoders have the following minimum requirements. InterActual recommends that your system meet or exceed the following requirements in order to attain the best DVD viewing experience on your personal PC: - A 400 MHz or faster Intel-compatible CPU
- A video card with AGP architecture and at least 4 MB of onboard RAM
- At least 128 MB of system RAM (Windows 2000 and XP users - 256 MB or more is recommended)
- Windows 98 SE, Windows 2000, Windows Millennium Edition, or Windows XP (most software DVD decoders have either reduced function or no support under Windows 95 and Windows NT 4.0)

- A DVD-ROM drive (DVD discs cannot be read by CD-ROM equipment)
Minimum InterActual Player Requirements The requirements of InterActual Player are dependent on the DVD-ROM content presented within our software. While most of the content designed for our software should run comfortably well within the system requirements laid out above, there may be unique exceptions. As always, refer to our posted FAQ's for any known title-specific requirements. - A 400 MHz or faster Intel-compatible CPU
- Windows 98 SE, Windows 2000, Windows Millennium Edition, or Windows XP (Windows 95 and NT 4.0 are not supported)
- Internet Explorer 5.5 or above
- An Internet connection (not required to play video, but may be required by some of the DVD-ROM features)
- Properly installed video and audio drivers, with full DirectX support
- A software DVD decoder, which supports the Microsoft DirectShow interface (examples include: InterVideo WinDVD, CyberLink PowerDVD, Sonic Cineplayer, Mediamatics DVD Express/DVMatics, ATI DVD Player, Orion Studios DirectDVD 5.0 or above)
- or A hardware DVD decoder with specific navigator support by InterActual Player (only Sigma Designs Real Magic Hollywood Plus is supported directly by InterActual Player)
- Updated versions of the Macromedia Flash and Shockwave plugins for Microsoft Internet Explorer
Once your system meets or exceeds these recommendations, you should be ready to enjoy interactive DVD movies on your personal computer. |
