Problems Connecting To Exclusive Website On Selected CD And DVD Titles

Problem:
You encounter problems accessing exclusive website features for selected movie DVD's (such as those that include the Total Axess™ or Infinifilm® feature), or one or more of the following music products:

  • Dandy Warhols - Welcome To The Monkeyhouse
  • Liz Phair - Liz Phair
  • Mushroomhead - XIII
  • Verbena - La Musica Negra
  • Meshell Ndegeocello - Comfort Woman

Solution:
The exclusive website features for these and other similar products are only available to owners of the original disc. The features are not accessible using "burned" copies of the disc, or by running the Web files from a computer hard drive.

If you are using the actual disc and you encounter an authentication error when attempting to access the exclusive features, your computer's configuration may be preventing the website from verifying that the actual disc is in your drive. Please check the following in your system as possible causes of the issue:

  • The Web pages associated with these products cannot be accessed with your Web browser's "Favorites" or "bookmark" option. They can only be accessed from the link on the original disc itself.
  • If you have any ad-blocking software installed, try disabling it before accessing the weblink on the disc.
  • If you have software installed that monitors or limits Web activity by minor children, that may also affect the weblinks on the discs and may need to be temporarily disabled to allow the links to work.
  • If you have your Web browser's "cookie" functions disabled, or have their security level at the "Medium-High" setting or above, try re-enabling the cookies, and setting the security level at "Medium" or below.
  • Cookies in a Web browser are date-sensitive, and are rarely valid for more than 7 days. If the calendar/clock in your personal computer is significantly off (for example, the date, month, and/or year are incorrectly specified), the content may not properly function. Always ensure that your computer is correctly displaying the proper time and date for your area.
  • If you have a firewall device connected, such as a router with a built-in firewall function, you may need to disable or disconnect it in order to allow the content to be displayed.
  • Likewise, if you have locally running firewall software, such as ZoneAlarm, McAfee WebEssentials, or Norton Internet Security, that may also need to be disabled before the content will be accessible.
  • Windows XP computers include a firewall "service" in the Dial-Up Networking properties. This will probably need to be disabled in order to allow the content to function properly.

The interactive features on these and other releases is tested in Windows and Macintosh computers with their browser, network, and security settings at default. If your system's settings are set likewise, then you should be able to view the extra content without problems.
