One of the reasons for the continuing appeal of the
Star Wars movies is their complexity and depth. Each scene is
filled with such detail that repeated viewings are rewarding each
time.
Thanks to software from InterActual, the power of DVD
and the Internet are combined to provide viewers with a new
text-based commentary for the Episode I DVD. If you have a PC
DVD-ROM with web access, visit dvd.starwars.com and find out dozens
of factoids you may not have known about The Phantom Menace.
The information is divided into three color-coded types: "Lore"
information is culled from the ever-expanding Star Wars
universe of facts, "Behind the Scenes" provides some insights into
the filmmaking process, and "Did you Notice" covers the tiny and fun
details you may have missed.
To begin, insert your Episode I DVD in your PC's DVD-ROM drive,
launch the InterActual player, and select the starwars.com menu
item.
